About All Things Lake Geneva

All Things Lake Geneva is a love letter—to this town, to the stories that shaped it, and to the people who made me who I am.

I’ve called Lake Geneva home since third grade. I graduated from Badger High. I’ve poured drinks in our dive bars and poured over blueprints at city council meetings. I’ve fought to preserve what makes this place so damn special—not just the buildings, but the heartbeat behind them.

This project is powered by everything my parents instilled in me. I was raised to think globally, act locally —with empathy, grit, curiosity, and purpose. My mom, Janet Hill, was a lifelong member of the National Trust and spent over two decades on the board of Horticultural Hall. I served six years there myself. She taught me how to entertain with grace and make guests feel seen. My dad showed me how to stand up for what matters, stay rooted, and get the job done. Together, they raised someone who believes that community is everything—and that history isn’t something we dust off, it’s something we live.

From my time as a concierge at the Grand Geneva, to leading Black Point Estate, to serving as an alderman, to bartending at Hog's & KIsses, to running into half of town at Piggly Wiggly—I’ve lived Lake Geneva from every angle.

And now? This is my give-back.

All Things Lake Geneva exists to make your time here—whether you're visiting or lucky enough to live here—richer, easier, more connected. It’s a celebration of the real Lake Geneva: the stories, the quirks, the characters, the views, and the legends.

ATLG exists to improve the user experience—and every dollar that comes through the door helps give back to local historic preservation. Because if we don’t protect what’s special, we risk losing the soul of the place we love.

This isn’t a job. It’s a mission. And it’s just getting started.
